At the end of March we are closing for 4 weeks for some refurbishment work where we are altering 3 rooms into two. This means we are going from 5 letting bedrooms down to 3 and our Standard, Superior Doubles/kings/twin rooms will no longer be available.
- Deluxe Attic room with Victorian brass king-size bed, sitting area and en-suite bathroom & shower
- This room is situated at the top of the house, hence the name, and is our biggest room. This carries on the 'Country Cottage' theme with its original beams, sloping ceilings and plastered walls. The Victorian style brass king-size (Reylon) bed with its sprung divan and luxurious mattress guarantees a good nights sleep. The sitting area has 2 comfortable armchairs with a 21" TV, and also added extras of a fridge, iron & ironing board and bathrobes. The large en-suite comes with a bath and separate shower facilities.

- One of our new rooms will have a 4-poster bed together with a sitting area, flat screen TV/DVD, fridge, iron & iron board and also all the normal extras we provide together with a larger en-suite offering an enclosed jet-spray power/steam/shower pod.

- Our other new room will have a Victorian style brass king-size bed (similar to our Deluxe Attic). This will have a smaller sitting area with all the extras we have offering in the above new room together with a double size en-suite with an enclosed jet-spray power/steam/shower pod .

All our bedrooms are en-suite with each having a remote controlled colour television, hair dryer, radio/alarm clock and tea/coffee making facilities. Complimentary biscuits, hot chocolate, local Lakeland bottled water and Kendal mint cake are also provided along with fresh towels, toiletries and even hot water bottles for those chilly Lakeland nights. Some of the rooms overlook the library park while others offer distant views of the surrounding mountains.
